Jakarta, indomaritim.com – Subholding commercial and trading of Indonesia’s state energy firm PT Pertamina Patra Niaga announced a 14 percent price reduction for aviation fuel (avtur) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), alongside price cuts for commercial fuels, effective July 1, 2026.

“The price adjustment for non-subsidized fuel is based on global oil market price developments and follows applicable regulations and mechanisms,” the company’s Vice President of Corporate Communications Kitty Andhora stated in Jakarta on Tuesday (June 30) as quoted by Antara News Agency.

“Of course, this adjustment has been coordinated with the government,” she added.

Under the new policy, domestic avtur at the country’s primary aviation hub in Cengkareng, Banten, will drop by Rp3,000 per liter to Rp19,190 (approximately US$1.07) per liter, down from its June rate of Rp22,190 (US$1.24) per liter.

Pertamina also expanded cuts across its commercial vehicle fuel portfolio.

Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) dropped seven percent to Rp19,300 (US$1.08) per liter, down from Rp20,750 (US$1.16) per liter.

For non-subsidized diesel, Dexlite (CN 51) was slashed by 14 percent to Rp19,700 (US$1.10) per liter from its June price of Rp23,000 (US$1.28) per liter.

Premium diesel Pertamina Dex (CN 53) saw a 15 percent drop, moving from Rp24,800 (US$1.39) per liter to Rp21,150 (US$1.18) per liter.

“In addition to offering competitive prices, we also continue to ensure product quality meets specifications so that the public receives optimal benefits—both in terms of vehicle performance and fuel efficiency,” Kitty added. (RR)
